Starting in the ancient cave city of Petra, the Petra Desert Marathon leads runners past the incredible tombs, mountainside carvings, and caves before venturing into the arid, lunar-like landscapes of the Jordanian desert.

Rich in history, culture and scenic nature, Jordan offers its visitors superb possibilities for an exciting Adventure Marathon™.

We offer a variety of race extensions if you want to continue your adventure with us. Be it adventurous hikes or ancient history,  there’s no wrong answer.   

Runners can choose between the marathon or half-marathon.
